Midwest Association of Rail Shippers
The Midwest Association of Rail Shippers is headquartered in Chicago. General membership comes from the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin as well as the Canadian provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Its objective is to provide an open forum for resolving transportation and car supply issues, coupled with programs designed to educate and inform the membership in areas of railroad operating practices, freight car supply, new innovations in transportation and legislative matters. Meetings are held twice a year, in January and July. Dues are $25 per year. Membership application and dues payment can be submitted here.

MARS Young Professionals Committee provides Transportation & Rail Professionals as an opportunity to increase engagement and career development for those moving up through the ranks in the rail shipping community through social networking and volunteer opportunities.
