About Steve Blinn

Steve joined Norfolk Southern Railroad in June 2002, with prior job experience in Transportation and Intermodal Disciplines while employed with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad in Chicago, Illinois. His responsibilities while with BNSF were transportation related where he held positions as Train Dispatcher, Assistant Manager of Locomotive Utilization and Intermodal Hub Manager in Schaumburg/Chicago.

Steve joined BNSF in 1995 immediately after he resigned from the US Navy after 10 years of service, where he was an aviator, who flew the EA-6B Prowler. Steve was proud to have served his country in Operation Desert Storm, where he was highly decorated for flying 25 combat missions over Iraq and Kuwait, amounting to 104 combat hours.

Steve graduated from Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in 1986 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. He holds a MBA degree from Keller Graduate School of Management which he earned in 2001.
