About Michael Barth

Michael Barth is Vice President Transportation and Logistics for United Sugars Corp. Mike brings 25 years of sales, marketing and logistics management experience to United Sugars, where his primary responsibility is the management of all Transportation and Logistics services within United Sugars. Prior to joining United Sugars Mike was Director of Sales Agricultural Products in Chicago, IL for CSX, where his primary responsibility was for the sales management of CSXT’s Agricultural Business Unit. Previously, Mike held the role of Director of Sales CSX’s Paper and Forest Products and Metals groups and various other sales and marketing positions throughout many of CSX’s commercial business units. Prior to joining CSX in 1996 Mike also held various sales and marketing roles at Burlington Northern Sante Fe railroad where he began his railroad career in 1992.

Mike is actively involved in the Midwest Association of Rail Shippers as an Executive Committee Member since 2007 and is currently serving as President of the organization.

Mike holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Central Missouri. He also studied International Business at the University of Vaxjo, Vaxjo Sweden.

Mike resides in Fargo, ND with his wife Kathleen and their four children. Mike enjoys the outdoors including traveling, boating, golf, and spending time with his family.
